Tie Neck Blouse

I am so happy with the way this blouse turned out.  I used a black rayon for the front, back, collar, and cuffs.  I used a lovely, embossed. chiffon for the sleeves.

I stitched the seams using the French Seam method and stitched a narrow hem and then folded it over and stitched a 5/8 inch hem.

Below is a view of the shirt before I attached the collar.

Although I have used this pattern before I forgot that a few pieces and the second page of instructions were missing.  Fortunately, I was able to complete the collar and cuffs without an difficulty.

I did have difficulty sewing the buttonhole on my Singer Brilliance so I had to use my old Singer Sew-o-matic 500.
