Cold Shoulder Top

I am in love with the STYLE of the season "The Cold Shoulder Top".

My fabric was something from my stash, a very soft polyester.

The pattern went together very easy and fit without any adjustments. 

Jumpsuit

I am so intrigued by jumpsuits I decided to make another one for summer.  I chose a New Look Pattern #6413 from Simplicity and  some fabric from my stash. 

The fabric was a lovely Rayon with a beautiful drape that I knew would work great for this pattern.  It has a lovely rose colored floral print  on a background of black abstract that gives it the impression of an animal print.

The pattern went to together very well.  I installed my first invisible zipper and surprisingly that turned out very well too.  I was a little unsure about the fabric as I started putting it together,  I thought for sure I had watched too many episodes of The Golden Girls and had a real 80's Vibe going on.  But after I had assembled the two pieces together and tried it on I was very pleased with the overall look.
