Very Easy Vogue V9063

I wanted a quick pattern and having just sewn this top I knew it would be simple.  The fabric is not something I would normally wear so I had to make sure I picked the right pattern  or it would look very old lady.

I really love this pattern and I am very happy with this top.

I found this lovely, wool blend, knit at my favorite but soon to close fabric store.  I wanted a comfy, oversized sweater.  I thought this vogue pattern would be fun to try.

This was a simple, quick pattern and I plan to make again.  I like to try and make each pattern at least twice.  

It looks quite big on my dress form but that was the look i was going for.  

I used a decorative stitch on my hem, I really enjoy using the different  stitches on my singer Brillance.  For this sweater I used #54.

As I was scrolling through the Net-A-Porter I found this sweater that looks very similar to this Vogue Pattern.
